This Tiffany brooch may have been sold in London to those attending events honoring Edward, Prince of Wales, future King Edward VII of England in 1902 - alternatively, in New York to the many Americans traveling to celebrate the event. Edward VII's wife, Queen Alexandra, was given a prince of Wales feather brooch of diamonds and emeralds, a jewel later passed down in the family and worn not only by Diana but most recently by Kate Middleton, both Princesses of Wales.
