When the popularity of gold surged again in the 1960s, Tiffany partnered with Italian goldsmiths for beautifully made gold jewelry. Among their most important partners was a Florentine family, the Settepassi, royal goldsmiths and precious stone experts for centuries, one of the oldest in the field in the country. IN the 1850s, they founded "Faraone", a shop on the Ponte Vecchio, now still active in the field as jewelry auctioneers.
