Created in the 1920s, this Art Deco diamond and emerald bracelet by Tiffany & Co, is set with diamonds and emeralds. Designed as an articulated strap, the bracelet is set with 11.20 carats of old European, Asscher, elongated baguette, and French-cut diamonds, and highlighted by step-cut emeralds, with millegrain accents. With its strong geometry, subtle elevations, and a fascinating variety of Art Deco diamond cuts, this sparkling Tiffany & Co. strap is, as expected, distinguished by refined technique and strong design.

At the same time that Louis Tiffany's studio was creating artistic jewels, the firm's traditional workshop was distinguishing itself for refined Art Deco work, both made at home and imported from Paris. The 1920-1921 Blue Book offered a variety of bracelets "of close-set diamonds in exclusive designs" to an appreciative clientele in the mood to buy and flaunt their prosperity. In 1925, The Queen magazine observed that "The July steamers begin to leave New York with more tonnage in jewels than anybody but Aladdin could believe in."
